Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Reduce swelling and relieve stress

Manuelle Lymphdrainage

Description

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle therapy for activating the lymphatic system. Rhythmic, circular grip techniques stimulate the drainage of lymphatic fluid, reduce swelling, and relieve tissue pressure. This gentle treatment is suitable for people who want to relieve stress, strengthen the immune system, and reduce stress. Depending on the goal and health condition, we offer two types of lymphatic drainage: either to support the immune system and promote relaxation, or as a medically oriented treatment for edema, lipedema, and post-surgery conditions.

backgrounds

Where does manual lymphatic drainage come from?

The manual lymphatic drainage was developed in the 1930s by Danish physiotherapist Dr. Emil Vodder. Originally intended for the treatment of chronic sinusitis, its benefits for the entire body were soon recognized. Today, manual lymphatic drainage is an integral part of physical therapy – both in medical and preventative settings. Its success is based on the combination of rhythmic movements and targeted stimulation of the lymphatic system – completely medication-free and with lasting effects.

What is lymph tape?

Lymphatic tape is a special, elastic adhesive tape that is used to support the lymphatic system. It helps to reduce swelling (edema) and promote the natural lymph flow in the body. The tape is applied to the skin in a targeted manner and, thanks to its special elasticity, slightly lifts the upper layers of skin. This creates more space in the tissue, which makes it easier to remove lymph fluid and waste products.

Lymphatic taping is often used for sports injuries, swelling after operations, lymphatic congestion or to support the healing of muscle tension. The tape is gentle on the skin, breathable and does not restrict freedom of movement. It therefore offers an effective and pleasant way to activate the lymphatic system in a natural way.

Thanks to its wide range of applications, lymphatic tape is an important tool in physiotherapy, manual lymphatic drainage and pain management.
